10. Wine country
Synopsis of Movie Wine Country:
Six women who have been friends since their days as waitresses, start to question their friendships and futures when they travel to Napa Valley, California, to celebrate a 50th birthday
Review of Movie Wine Country:
The movie starts with this girl group of six reuniting after years to go to Napa valley to celebrate a 50th birthday. They all live quite differently now and its not dull at all to see how the movie plays out. Its doesn't exactly have a plot but its the characters that make the movie worthwhile. Recommended for light humor.
9.Rough Night
Synopsis of Movie Rough Night:
Jess the bride and her friends reunite after years to celebrate her bachelorette. Things take an unexpected and unfortunate turn when the girls accidentally kill the male stripper that they had hired.
Review of Movie Rough Night:
This is a R rated area. Its a dark comedy murder mystery which is quite predictable. The movie has a good amount of humour and the cast is spot on in playing out their characters. Its dumb yet likeable.
8.Blockers
Synopsis of Movie Blockers:
3 parents become good friends after seeing the friendship of their children. But they try hard to stop their daughters from losing their virginity on prom night.
Review of the Movie Blockers:
The movie exhibits teenagers finding themselves and parents learning to let them navigate their lives on their own instead of controlling their every move.
We also get to see mid-life crisis as a storyline. Overall it is a raunchy movie with crude humour.
7.Girls Trip
Synopsis of the Movie Girls Trip:
Ryan the main lead is invited to speak at a Festival and she sees it as a chance to reconnect with her best friends Sasha, Lisa and Dina, and the girls set out on a trip to New Orleans.
Review of the Movie Girls Trip:
From the synopsis you're probably thinking a plot that has been overused way to many times before but what makes this movie special is the cast who put life in their characters and absolutely nailed it. This is a hilarious movie that I always recommend. An all female cast is a bonus!
6.Neighbors
Synopsis of the movie Neighbors:
Two new parents have their peaceful life offset by a fraternity house next door, which is inhabited by constantly partying college students who refuse to be quiet no matter how hard the couple tries to stop them.
Review of the movie Neighbors:
If you liked the previous movies of Seth Rogen you're definitely going to like this one too! Filled with gross scenes and vulgar jokes this movie shows a war between parents and the frat house.
There's a part two which has sorority house instead of a fraternity. You can give both movies a try but in my opinion the 1st one is better!
5.The Package
Synopsis of the movie The Package:
Teenage friends go on a camping trip during spring break and an unfortunate accident sets off a race against time to save the most prized possession belonging to one of them.
Review of the movie The Package:
To describe this movie I would say its an adventure movie about race against time to save the most prized possession of one of the friends *spoiler alert* its his penis!
This is an absolute must watch because the writing is so good and the the plot twist in the end is even funnier.
4. The Dictator
Synopsis of the movie The Dictator:
Aladeen is a brutal dictator who travels to New York in order to address the United Nations Security Council. However, his plans go south when a hitman hired by his uncle kidnaps him and he finds out about rebels in his country.
Review of the movie The Dictator:
Filled with extremely offensive jokes this should be on your list if you love dark comedies. This is similar to Sacha Baron Cohens movies but much better! Hopefully we'll get a part two of this one!
3.Death at a funeral
Synopsis of the movie Death at a funeral:
Aaron's father's funeral turns into a hilarious scene when the wrong body is delivered to them, one of the people attending turns up stoned, an uncle gets angry on his daughter and a alot of secrets are revealed.
Review of the movie Death at a funeral:
Its a remake of 2007 British movie and I would say its equally hilarious. A dark comedy filled with pure chaos and the jokes keep on coming. Highly recommended!
2. CHiPs
Synopsis of the movie CHiPs:
Officer John and FBI undercover agent Frank team up to investigate a million dollar heist and expose the corrupt officers in their department despite their own frequent clashes in opinions and way of operating
Review of the movie CHiPs:
A silly action comedy with jokes that will keep you going. This is an R rated movie with crude humour and nudity. There isn't much to the plot but the two main leads make the movie interesting.
1.Good Boys
Synopsis of the movie Good Boys:
Max, a 12-year-old boy, has the chance to kiss his crush at a party and works out a plan with his best friends to learn how to kiss.
Review of the movie Good Boys:
Yes this movie revolves around 12 year olds but No it is not meant for them to watch. The acting is A+ along with well written jokes that provide consistent humour. Not one moment in this movie movie feels dry or dull. Highly recommended movie!
