10 Most Romantic Movies Ever Made

10 Most Romantic Movies of all time

Romantic movies is a good binge when watching with your partner or alone, it doesn't matter.  The movies listed below will definitely make you feel good and want to fall in love! Let's start...

1.A Walk To Remember :

Summary :

Landon one of the tough guys from school falls in love with Jamie, a reverend's daughter. When Landon is told to do community service as a punishment, he asks for help from Jamie which then leads to them falling in love

Review :

When I first saw this movie, I was just awestruck by the character developments. Landon changes for good when he falls in love, Jamie gets out of her comfort zone.

The reverend finally understands the feelings for his young daughter. Even though, the movie has an emotional ending - for the romantic genre lovers would actually appreciate the movie for its simplicity.

2. The Holiday :

Summary :

Two women who lives miles away from each other, don't know each other, finally decides to swap houses and escape from their normal life and their miseries.

Review :

This movie has always been my favourite simply because it's something different. Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet swap houses as they both are fed up of their lives in their current City. Little did they know, by doing so they'll find someone with whom they would want to spend their lives. This rom-com will always hold a special place in my heart! Moving on....

3.  The Vow :

Summary:

Paige and Leo falls in love and gets married. Paige unfortunately meets with an accident only for her to forget about the life she lived with Leo. Leo tries to help Paige to recover her memories.

Review:

The movie is a little bit similar to that of The Notebook, both the female characters forget about their lives with their partners. This movie is based on a true love story. Albeit, Paige never recovered from her memory loss, she falls in love with Leo all over again. Talk about meant to be.

4. The Notebook:

Summary:

An old man read a story to an old woman who has dementia about a wealthy girl and a poor country guy who falls in love during their summer time.

Review :

Allie and Noah, a couple with different personalities falls in love in a picturesque country side. Ups and downs in their relationship leads Allie to get married to another guy but it doesn't happen (obviously). They get back together again. As they grow old together, Allie is diagnosed with Dementia which makes her forget about her previous life. The mere fact that Noah still loves her after ages, reading to her so that she can try to remember, is just beautiful to me. Love is superior than anything else.

5. Me Before You:

Summary:

Louisa Clark, when unemployed is forced to accept a job. The job is to look after a paralyzed man named Will Traynor. Because of this job, they grow closer to each other and eventually falls in love.

Review:

This movie does it again - with a simple story, quaint landscape, Will's stubbornness and Louisa's bubbly and goofy character just adds upto the movie. Loved it!

6. The Fault In Our Stars:

Summary:

Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters both suffering from cancer falls in love with each other. They have to overcome their hardships for love.

Review:

TFIOS had us all in tears when Augustus died. Their love story was pure and emotional. The eulogy scene was where I cried like a baby. Anyway, this movie is a must watch for all romance lovers.

7. Everything, Everything:

Summary:

Maddy suffers from a severe immunodeficiency disease, which forces her to stay indoors. Olly, the next door neighbour, is immediately attracted to her.

Review:

Having a disease that makes you stay indoors, completely unaware of how the outside world is, would force any one to break rules and that's what Maddy did with Olly's help. Their story is so soft and pure, it warms my heart! Definitely a must watch.

8. Every Day:

Summary:

Rhiannon falls for a spirit who changes the host body every day. Rhiannon is forced to find which body will the spirit take every morning.

Review:

This is clearly an unusual love story. But keeping the story in mind, it's not that bad. Teenage love story with a twist - why not put spirits as the main character! Different than the cliché romantic films.

9. Five Feet Apart:

Summary:

Stella suffers from cystic fibrosis, hence always is in the hospital where she finds Will with the same disease but can not go near to each other as that might be fatal for both.

Review:

Another hospital love story. Stella and Will have the same illness, which causes them to stay five feet away from each other or else they might infect each other. The film is emotional, sure. But I didn't understand why Will had to leave... Moving on, this movie is amazingly simple. No materialism just love. You've got to check it out.

10. Call Me By Name:

Summary:

Set in 1980s Italy, Elio finds himself attracted to Oliver who is a doctoral working with Elio's father.  Their love story takes a dive when Elio finds out the truth about Oliver after he returns to his town.

Review:

Saved the best for the last! This movie had us all in the feels. When Timothée cried, we all cried with him. Their love story was so beautiful, something about it seems real and raw. So well written and so well executed by both the actors. Truly marvelous and a must watch

These are just some handpicked romantic movies. Obviously there are more to add in this list, but for now binge these movies to make you all feel warm.
