This show is loosely based on the actual life of Awkwafina and its an hilarious show.

British comedies are always amazing aren't they?

Follow this group of misfits through their chaotic life living in an abandoned hospital. Its quite short just as British shows are so you'll finish the 6 episodes each 30 minutes long in no time.

Review:

Unfortunately this show got cancelled after 2 seasons.

This is recommended for people who want to watch a series that is not your conventional vanilla comedy.

Its a hilarious show with each episode bringing a new situations that the characters try to solve but end up causing chaos and delivering pure entertainment.

That presents a problem, however, when the educators who are trying to mold the country's youth don't have their own lives in order.

Review:

This is not a popular show where I live and I do not remember how I stumbled upon this lowkey funny show.

Its about 6 teachers (which you cannot relate to real life ones as they'd probably get fired if they did anything as such).

Its shows the perspective of elementary school teachers and everything that they go through wrapped in hilarity, crude jokes and irony.

5.Workin moms

Synopsis:

Workin' Moms show follows warm, loyal PR executive and her longtime friend, no-nonsense psychiatrist as they attend a judgmental mommies' group, where they meet timid IT tech and blindly optimistic real estate agent.

Review:

Its not only for Working mom's but for everyone. Its a must watch!

This show will lead you through the lives of 4 working moms and the way the handle their lives (work and home).

Everything from writing to acting is perfect here and you'll relate to at least one character here in some way.

6.Brooklyn Nine Nine

Synopsis:

Brooklyn Nine Nine follows Holt, a commanding officer, and his diverse and quirky team of odd detectives solve crimes in Brooklyn, New York City.

Review:

You're probably living under a rock if you haven't heard about this sitcom.

The diversity in the characters and representations, the writing, the acting everything is excellently executed. This should definitely be on your list of must watch comedies!

7.The Good Place

The show follows Eleanor, an ordinary woman who, through an extraordinary string of events, enters the after life where she comes to realize that she hasn't been a very good person.

With the help of her afterlife mentor Chidi, she's determined to shed her old way of living and discover the awesome (or at least the pretty good) person within.

Review:

Humour mixed with philosophy and life lessons is how I would describe this show. The characters are unique and quirky and you'll enjoy watching their hilarious adventures.

8.Jane the Virgin

Jane the Virgin set in Miami a remake of telenovela, the series will detail the surprising and unforeseen events that take place in the life of Jane, a hard-working, religious young Latina woman whose family tradition and a vow to save her virginity until her marriage to a detective is shattered when a doctor accidentally artificially inseminates her by mistake during a checkup.

And to make matters worse, the biological donor is a married man, a former playboy and cancer survivor who is not only the new owner of the hotel where Jane works but was also her former teenage crush.

Review:

Absolutely must watch for anyone who loves dramedy. Jane, her mother and her grandmother are the 3 leads here and to see women as protagonists is always welcome.

The three generation family goes through a lot of new challenges when their virgin daughter gets pregnant. The show has plot twists after plot twists keeping you on the edge.

It balances it off with humour in the most charming way.

9.Two broke girls

Synopsis :

2 Broke Girls Max and Caroline, in their mid-twenties, work at a Brooklyn restaurant as waitresses. Together, they dream of starting up their cupcake business, but always find themselves without money.

Review:

This sitcom ran from 2011 to 2017 and it was great watching the two girls go through so much trying to meet ends in the most quirky way. Heads up the jokes are a bit offensive at times.

10.Insatiable

Synopsis :

Insatiable follows Patty who was overweight, which caused her to be bullied, ignored and underestimated by the people around her. But she is now thin and seeking revenge against those who ever made her feel bad about herself through fat-shaming.

Enter Bob Armstrong, a disgraced attorney with a passion for coaching beauty pageant contestants. As one of the only people who sees Patty's potential, he takes her under his wing -- first as a legal client, then as a pageant contestant.

Bob hopes to coach Patty to the top of the pageant game, but he and wife Coralee have no idea how deep her rage goes or how far she will go to exact revenge on the people she feels have wronged her.

Review:

Its a dark comedy and I'm still confused whether I liked it or not. This has offensive humour and the story is quite odd. Nevertheless the reason I watched both the seasons was to see where and how Patty ends up.

This list does not include some comedy family shows. We have a separate list for it check it our here
